Hope For Haiti Update

January 20, 2010

Hello, Everyone

A few days ago, Insight sent out an urgent request asking all our faith partners to give to a special Hope For Haiti project to help with the relief effort following the devastating earthquake. You responded. So far we have raised close to $4,000 through your generosity, but we have long way to go.

I wanted to give you an update on how we plan to use the funds you donated to help the people of Haiti. We are sending half of the funds received to the Adventist Deveiopment and Relief Agency (ADRA), which has an office in Haiti and is one of the most respected emergency aid organizations in the world. Second, we are partnering with a local church in the Dominican Republic to help them purchase water, medical supplies, and other essential items. The church is driving aid over the border into Haiti. Half of all the money you give will go to churches in the Dominican Republic that are helping the aid effort on the ground.

We at Insight want to thank you for all you have done, but let's not stop now. Just today another powerful aftershock rocked Port Au Prince, Haiti. The need continues to be great. Please don't stop giving now. Some of you can give $5, $10, $15, or $20. Some of you can only give $2. Give whatever love gift you can. God sees what you've done and He will reward you for it. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support.

Let's keep praying for Haiti!
