Gaming Addicts Beware

Dwain
March 10, 2010

Did you know that people--most of them young--spent more than $21 billion dollars on video games and gaming hardware in 2008? The gaming industry actually passed the film industry in terms of revenue. That unbelievable to me.

But, I may know why--at least partially. Turns out, game makers do a whole number of things to be sure that their customers keep coming back for more. If you just can't put down Madden NFL, World of Warcraft, Halo, Grand Theft Auto, or some other game, there may a good reason why.

Check out the link below for an article that gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how games are created to hook you, and keep you hooked for a long time.
