Give your Respose

A Call

Tom
March 15, 2011

This world is troubled in every corner. We constantly hear of natural disasters all over the place, casualties and death tolls rising. Yes, this planet is suffering under the curse of sin.

The big news right now is the earthquake and tsunami in Japan and the Pacific. Many have lost their lives and countless others have been affected by this tragedy.

Insight readers, this is a call to prayer and support.

There are 126 million people living in Japan. Only 2 percent of the population is Christian. They need to know God, His love and comfort, His promises, the hope we have in Him. They need to know of our soon-coming Savior, who will put an end to all suffering and death. Let us pray to this end.

The people of Japan also need material help--relief and emergency services. Prayerfully consider giving a donation to help through the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA). ADRA is already there coordinating with local agencies to provide help. To find out more about ADRA and to donate, go to www.adra.org or call 1-800-424-2372.

Please continue to pray for the people affected by this disaster. And if the Spirit moves you to donate some money to help in the relief and emergency services going on over there, fantastic!

Let's keep Christ's mission in the front of our minds as we occupy this earth until He comes.

Tom
