Entry Categories and Prize

1. Prizewinning entries will be published in Insight.
2. You must be age 22 or under to enter the student categories.
3. Your entry must be a true, unpublished work by you, with a strong spiritual message. We appreciate the use of Bible texts.
4. Entries must be typed and double-spaced (no handwriting should appear on the manuscript).
5. Please include the title of your piece on both the first page of the manuscript and on the cover sheet (do not include your name on the manuscript).
6. Your short story should not be longer than seven pages. Your poem should not be longer than one page.
7. Send as many entries as you like.
8. Send a cover sheet with each one of your entries. Include your:
- Entry category
- Title of the entry
- Name
- Permanent and school addresses (if applicable)
- Telephone number(s)
- Church name, city, and state
- Gender (needed for accurate illustrative portrayal)
- Ethnicity (needed for accurate illustrative portrayal)
- Social Security number (necessary for payment)
- Biographical facts
a. If you're a student: your birthdate; what grade you are going into; the school you attend; your major, if applicable; hobbies; a photo of yourself (no Polaroids or color copies).
b. If you enter the general category: biographical facts such as occupation, interests, achievements, etc.

9. If you do not win a prize, your entries will be considered for purchase at regular INSIGHT rates.
10. Entries must be received by June 1, 2010.
