Ok so I like this girl at my school. I really like her and I told her and she said she likes me. Ok so now the problem is she said she's not ready for a relationship. I respect her with her saying that. But people keep asking if we go out and stuff and my parents say I should focus on school which makes me annoyed cause I don't know what to do. I've been praying about it but I'm still confused cause i can't just stop liking her. Should I wait or should I quit?

On July 1, 2008, twin brothers David and Michael Boyd were blessed to complete a mission that was given to them by God. David and Michael are the founders of a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization dedicated to youth outreach in America called The Enlightenment Tour, Inc. God gave them a vision to take an army of 6,000 Christian youth on 120 buses to 20 major U.S. cities to reach the at-risk youth in America. After several years of effort, it appeared that the Tour should be postponed due to a very small response to it. However, the Lord said: “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much” (Luke 16:10, KJV).
After much prayer and consideration, David and Michael decided to press on with a faithful few young people, including three international missionaries representing the countries of Australia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Argentina, and seven missionaries from the United States. The Enlightenment Tour 2008 went to work in six cities: Killeen, Texas; Houston, Texas; New Orleans, Louisiana; Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Miami, Florida, from June 1, 2008 to July 1, 2008.
During their missionary journey, the members of The Enlightenment Tour 2008 saw the great need to reach troubled youth in America. As the missionaries ministered to more than 1,000 young people in the six cities, they shed some tears, asked many questions, requested prayer, and prayed many prayers. They also gave encouragement, relief, laughter, and many thanks. As a result many youth filled out forms requesting Bible studies, because they desired to learn more about Jesus Christ.
The Enlightenment Tour 2008 offered a variety of mission fields to address the needs of young people, and its members provided many services to the community. They performed skits, sang songs, led group discussions, and prayed as they reached the youth in the Boys and Girls Clubs. The missionaries also performed puppet shows at Children’s Hospitals, cleaned and performed yard work for Ronald McDonald Houses, handed out literature, gave care packages to the homeless, witnessed to Hurricane Katrina victims, visited and prayed for a devastated community in New Orleans, donated several hours of labor on a home for Habitat for Humanity, and conducted a one-day community Vacation Bible School that taught the Commandments of God to younger children. Many of the youth filled out personal inventory surveys, which the members of The Enlightenment Tour 2008 used to further address their needs.
The missionaries of The Enlightenment Tour 2008 were truly God sent. They utilized their various talents and skills to enhance the work for God in the form of art, music, songs, and creativity. Each day the missionaries worked and put forth their best effort for the Lord. We thank God for sending us loving, willing, and dedicated missionaries ready to serve others. Through daily prayer, devotion, Bible studies, and work, each grew spiritually. All of the missionaries are looking forward to the next Tour. You can read more about their experience on our Web site, www.tour08.com.
David and Michael would like to thank Insight magazine for featuring them on one of its covers in December 2006, which they so often used to introduce The Enlightenment Tour, Inc. Many heard about the organization through the magazine, and two of the missionaries responded to the call as a result of reading the article. The magazine was sent to a friend in prison, who responded by sending David and Michael his testimony to use on the tour. The story also brought in financial support. David and Michael passed out hundreds of Insight magazines in Killeen, Texas, and they sent them to others to ask for their support. So thank you, Insight magazine, for your desire to not only minister to youth through your magazine, but also for supporting the youth God has called to help finish His great work. May the Lord continue to bless you in your endeavors to serve others and to glorify Him!
The Enlightenment Tour, Inc. is committed to continue God’s calling to reach the at-risk youth of America. To start this great work, David and Michael have invested all for this cause. Credit cards have been maximized to complete The Enlightenment Tour 2008. Therefore your help is needed to finish retiring the cost for The Enlightenment Tour 2008 and to prepare for the next missionary Tour. You can make a donation, find out more about The Enlightenment Tour 2008, and learn about upcoming missionary tours and other events at www.tour08.com.
