No ^^, there won't be marriage in heaven. That won't be necessary, because we're going to be praising God the entire time, and won't have to worry about marriage! (neither will it cross our minds) ^^ Here's what the Bible says in Matthew 22:30 "For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven."

Ok so I really like this guy and I think he likes me too. He's a junior and I'm a sophomore. All my friends say he likes me and sometimes he acts like it but some times he doesn't like he doesn't talk to me very much only when there aren't very many people around. We only have one class together and there are only a few of us in the class so he does talk to me then. What should I do?

hey...i think guys are kinda strange in that way. but guys at this age don't necessarily want to be tied down, so he may like you, but he just wants to talk to other people too. he could also be embarrassed to talk to you around his friends. but you have to be able to accept that he may just want to be friends...i kinda had the same situation, but the guy started flirting with another girl.

Adventist relationships Alexandra 8/30/2008
Hi, this question is partly about me as it is about my mother. My mother was married to an adventist man who abused her verbally and physically and she was in this relationship for 17 years. She then divorced him and the adventist church ridiculed her and shafted her. Now she is a single mother taking care of both me and my sister, and looking for that special someone. However, because of how she was treated by adventists she doesn't go the adventist church and is dating a non-christian who still does not treat her as well as I would hope. All I want is for her to find someone special in her life that will treat her with respect, but that special someone doesn't seem to exist. And now I'm worried, because I don't seem to believe in love anymore. I don't think I will find it, because to this day, I've never seen a long-lasting relationship in my family. I don't know if you understand the point I'm trying to get across but, I'm just really confused a

Well, I feel your mother's pain...but think about this. Not ALL Adventist are going to be sweet...nice and even treat their women/men well! But then again, your mother shouldn't really think that ALL Adventist men are bad to date. There are very kind and caring ones out there, but all she needs to do is pray and ask God to find her another partner (trust me, when she prays for it, she'll be surprised at the results! =]).

Christianity & Alcohol Brettus 8/28/2008
Hey guys, I wanted to pose a question as to why alcohol is prohibited in the SDA Church. I read an interesting article on wikipedia about Christianity and Alcohol, and it revealed that the dominant view amongst most Christian denominations is that alcohol is a symbol of propserity and joy in moderation, but obviously a scourge when taken to the point of drunkeness. I support this view on alcohol. The Bible to my eyes supports this position as well, in that it supports both the positive and negative views of alcohol. Some relevant verses here are Jg 9:13; Ps 4:7; 104:15; Ec 9:7; 10:19; Zc 9:17; 10:7. On what biblical basis does the SDA church reject alcohol?

what to do Brianna 8/25/2008
i really liked this guy and he seemed to like me...he would walk me to my car and we would chat a lot and hang out. we did that for about 2 weeks. i go to a boarding academy, and i am a village student so i drive back and forth every day. anyway, he is dorm and over the weekend, i felt something was not right. when i got to school on monday, he 1 of my friends said that the whole weekend he was hanging out with another girl and they seem to like each other. when i asked him to hang out with me, he said he was already hanging out with someone else and im pretty sure its her. i am really sad about this. what should i do???!!!!

Nobody want to cut off easily what do they like. That is the nature of human being. But when we need to cut off that we should do.So i would like to suggest pls deal with him first. In your dealing with him you must have to get help from God.Don't forget to pray for this case.He will be the best answer for you.cheers!
