college

So I am looking at Vanderbilt University and Cornell, but being able to Go to church and having a strong Adventist community is really important for me, which is why I am also considering Andrews. But what is better, Adventist or Regular College?

Hi! Check it out--we've done some special issues about college with articles about going to church schools and secular schools. I think the articles would be very helpful for you. E-mail me at insight@rhpa.org, and I'll get some copies to you in the mail.

You should pray and talk to God about that; Only he knows what's best for you; there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to making these types of decisions. For some, being at a non-adventist school might steer them farther away from Christ, but for others it won't even budge their stand with God. So in reality it just depends on the person. Just keep in mind, that non-adventist college's might talk a lot about evolution, especially if your major is in science or medicine. But like I said before, only Christ knows what you can and can't handle, and you should really stay in prayer about it.
