Is sexting with just words bad? Like..just saying things to turn on your boyfriend or girlfriend a bad thing? as long as it goes no farther than that?

The idea of sexting is not something that we as Christians should do, as it soon leads to "fornication"(quoting KJV Bible). There are some boundaries in which we shouldn't even be crossing, the main reason being that we aren't ready for it. Sexting is one of the "red zones" that we should look out for. It opens up our minds to something we as teens shouldn't be thinking about. Phillipians 4:8: "Whatsoever things are true...honest...just...PURE!...lovely...of good report; if there be any VIRTUE...think on these things." Sexting is not on the list or falls under any of these. Therefore, the wisest thing to do would be to stay away from it.

Jesus taught that if a man looked at a woman lustfully, he had already committed adultry in his heart. There will always be temptations, but the eyes truly are the window to the soul, they decipher what your minds dwell on and affect future choices, temptations and connection to Christ. 'Sext' messages don't prepare you for a holy and happy marriage relationship anymore than viewing pornography. you can't loose purity by a little bit, you may have drawn your own lines, but a little pit of impurity never belongs in Heaven or in our heaven-on-earth relationships. If your boyfriend wants to get to know you, become your best friend and helpmate to heaven, and you are following God's plan for your relationship, he won't need help getting turned on when the time is right.
