Goody goody

Posted by Bookworm19 on Jan 17 2014 10:57PM

People at school regard me as a goody two shoes. Is it ok to be a goody goody, and what exactly would I even do to make me be a goody goody?

I've been through the same thing as you really. I know what it feels like to be "labelled", as I have been for the past couple of years. The one thing I regret though is trying to make a point by "conflicting" this label. I've started saying and doing stuff in order to win approval or make me seem like less of a Christian, I suppose. I think being defined as a "goody goody" is based on the standards that those around you hold. Although it may seem really hard, try not to be conformed by then, and whatever you do, don't let that label define you. It will be difficult, but don't lash out and try to be the same as everyone else. Be unique. God will always help you through it, even though it may not seem like it.
