What happened to church? Jaydin 6/23/2007
There is a major problem. People in my church and in some others that I've visited are becoming quite worldly. People are coming to church wearing earrings and cursing on habit and other bad things like that and I'm afraid that all the young people are going to leave the church and that our churches are going to die like that. Please pray for our churches and especially the young people. PLEASE!!!!

Do you remember when Jesus says, "It is not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick"? One of the biggest reasons why I see people my age (I'm seventeen)leaving the church is that they find church to be a judgmental environment where they feel rejected instead of loved. I'm not condoning bad behavior on their part, but there is a right way and a wrong way to deal with it.

Why would he let it hapen Philip 11/25/2005
If God is all knowing, he knows what will happen in the future then why did he let sin happen? If man kind was the only creation that rebelled then why would God want to save us and put all his creation to suffer, when he could completely Destory every creation he has made and Make something new with out any Sin or trouble?

This is a very interesting question. We as Christian have to remember that it was God's divine plan to create us. He loves us and looked forward to having us with him. Because he loves he chose not to force us to love him. This can be to our own detriment but God is working hard interceding on our behalf. We just have to surrender.

Thank you so much for asking this! This verse was encouraging to me. I agree, always check verses out in context, and always always pray about it when and as you read it! They most of the time the verses tend to explain themselves if you read the preceding and coming! In this verse it does, if you read up to v. 10 especially. It talks about the definition of children of God and, well, the opposite, children of the devil.

When we accept the gospel we become children of God, but we cannot comprehend exactly what we will be like as we spiritually evolve, in earth as well as heaven. However we can believe that when we see Jesus Christ our Lord on that great day of His return to earth we will be like Him, because we have allowed the Holy Spirit to restore His image and likeness in us.
